PROGRAMME AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION
A major event in the history of the Catholic Church in Estonia will take place on May 17, 2025 – the first beatification. Many pilgrims and guests are expected in Tallinn, including relatives of Archbishop Eduard Profittlich from Germany.
Preliminary Programme for the Beatification:
Friday, May 16, 2025
19 Spiritual preparation for the beatification of Archbishop Eduard Profittlich.
Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Tallinn will be open for prayer and a vigil will take place. The church will remain open until midnight.
Saturday, May 17, 2025
11:00 – Holy Mass: Beatification with the participation of Cardinal Christoph Schönborn OP.
* Access to the Mass from 9:30.
13:30 – Pilgrims' Celebration at the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul in Tallinn.
Sunday, May 18, 2025
12:00 – Thanksgiving Mass (in Estonian and English) at the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul in Tallinn.
15:00 – Thanksgiving Mass (in German) at the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul in Tallinn.

To ensure the smooth organization of the Holy Mass on May 17, 2025, we ask Catholics to register via the website www.profittlich.eu.
All Catholic clergy must also register via the website www.profittlich.eu.
Registration for all pilgrimage groups from Estonia and abroad takes place via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Our volunteers will assist pilgrims in finding their places in the designated sectors in Town Hall Square.
All people are invited to the beatification Mass at Town Hall Square, and entry will not be restricted by tickets or other organizational measures. Registration of Catholics and pilgrims is primarily necessary to ensure the distribution of Holy Communion in the Catholic sector at Town Hall Square.
We kindly ask participants to arrive at Town Hall Square for the Mass by 10:30.
